Register as a Trainee and get practical experience

We recommend 1500 hours of related work experience and/or trainig

Pass the theory exam

Multiple-choice, proctored, and taken online

Pass the practical exam

A hands-on practical exam to test your skills related to inspection, testing, and maintenance (ITM) of fire alarm systems.

You will be upgraded to full technician status

You’ll be recognized publicly as a CFAA Registered Technician. You’ll keep up your registration with continuing education and registration renewals every 1 or 2 years.
